Job Summary

Generates new business and ensures growth of existing accounts.  Assesses potential new applications of Blue Sun products and services and offers solutions that meet customer needs.  Presents Blue Sun products and services to potential customers in key market segments. Providing technical training to employees/clients/public and communicating customer feedback into future product/program developments.  This individual should be familiar with a variety of the biodiesel industries concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Prospects new clients and maximizing market share potential in designated regions
  • Establishes new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers
  • Negotiates tender and contract terms, to meet both client and company needs
  • Manages and interprets client expectations
  • Offers after-sales support services
  • Sets and meets sales projections
  • Maintains client databases
  • Coordinates sales projects and promotions
  • Provides pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Provides solutions to client problems
  • Initiates and aides in the design of custom-application products
  • Provides internal and external training and product support
  • Attends trade shows, conferences and other events
  • Makes public presentations
  • Indentifies development opportunities (new terminals/strategic partnerships, JV’s)

Experience and Qualifications:                                                 

  • College degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • Minimum 4-5+ years experience in B2B sales, preferably in lubricants or fuels
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills a must
  • Detail oriented and organized; able to handle large, multi-faceted projects
