The individual will be responsible for exceeding revenue goals, increasing market share, and building customer loyalty and brand equity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Grow profitable revenue
- Attract, develop and close sales opportunities with high volume buyers
- Analyze and develop P&L for commodity and bulk purchase business opportunities
- Aggressively make outbound call and contacts to consistently be on top or ahead of the market.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive book of customer and market relationships for ongoing business development.
- Prepare customer contracts, write contracts, and execute contracts and other transactional activity.
- Develop efficient logistic plans, in conjunction with the logistics team, to deliver optimized solutions.
- Understand margin calculations and their impact on product pricing and margin contribution
- Understand hedge requirement and their impact on pricing and pricing strategy
- Actively manage company cash to minimize cash usage while maintaining margins.
Develop winning sales and market strategies
- Understand customer requirements for physical product deliveries and regulatory credits
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics and drivers to design profitable trading and sales strategies; be able to interpret and present current news, events and government regulations and their impact.
Manage risk and develop effective plans
- Manage market and price risks; develop, recommend, and execute appropriate strategies
- Understand the relationship between physical product sales, RINS and carbon credits and recommend strategies to optimize market opportunities and minimize risk.
- Make sound business decisions quickly in fast markets which can be defended logically.
- Resolve product shortfalls and overages on contracts.
- Actively manage all AP/AR associated with customer transactions to minimize cash risk
- Assist in resolving month end variances
- Communicate with management on sales pipeline; maintain accurate and up to date records in company CRM system
- Develop timely and accurate business forecasts
Build customer loyalty
- Meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Manage all accounting issues and needs in a timely basis to ensure high level of customer service
- React calmly and responsibly in adverse situations with customers, partners, and peers
- Resolve problems with a logical approach to maintain customer loyalty and minimize risk
REQUIREMENTS:
Sales experience
- Demonstrated past success in exceeding sales goals and objectives
- Commodity product sales experience; physical and financial products
- Business and financial acumen
- P&L mechanics understanding
Market knowledge

Extensive knowledge of biofuels physical products and related regulatory credit markets

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing or engineering
- Biofuels marketing experience REQUIRED
- 5 to 7 years of sales experience with accountability for quotas and revenue objective
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
